We DID IT!!!
Kindergarten during a pandemic sure had its challenges and I could not have done this without you!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Can you believe how quickly the year went by?
Here they are, so proud, so eager and so ready to move on, but they were still mine for just a little bit more this week.
I cherished every moment with them. I might have even cried a little during a goodbye book!
We learned the word 'bittersweet'... sigh...
it's so hard to let go.
They really did well during this crazy COVID year!
Really really well!
So without further ado, here they are,
the Kindergarten Class of 2021!
Like have water gun fun for Ww day!
My hubby purchased the water guns for the kids!
Thank you, Mr. O'Duggan!
We went BOWLING!
It was a nice little adding/subtraction activity!
We still had centers:
Yes, we had YES day!
I got pretty clever in my responses!
"Can we have candy?"
"Yes, ask your parents when you get home!"
Haha!
I made a little gift for your child!
"Owl Miss You!"
We will be working on this book for tomorrow's final activities.
I sure hope you enjoyed your child's memory book that we made for you this year!
Didn't they make great progress?
We made a counting by 5s dragon game!
We had our last guided drawing...a castle!
The kids did a great job!
If they need an activity for the summer,
there are many age appropriate guided drawing lessons on youtube that your family could do together!
We sent home the packet and a set of paper pieces if your child wishes to continue solving.
Sooooo cute!
Oh goodness.
It sure is a bittersweet time.
I keep thinking "Wait! I haven't done this or that with the kids yet." I can always find more fun and engaging things, but it is time to say good bye!
Please take me up on my invite for your kiddo to come out to my house after reading 100 books
(recording sheet included in the packet given out Thursday).
I will always remember your child.
Thank you for all your support from home this year.
You were awesome!
Best of luck in 1st grade and beyond as your child grows and changes and you do, too, as a parent.
So....
this is it.
Really.
A loooong Minnesota Good bye!
(but not really...come see me!)
