Week 2...Nursery Rhymes, Sunflowers, and Sorting

Last week we learned and illustrated 5 Nursery Rhymes...
Hickory Dickory, Jack and Jill, Mary had a Little Lamb,
Hey Diddle Diddle, and Humpty Dumpty.
The kiddos really are great direction followers!
Our morning message also included a bit of Nursery Rhyme fun.
Check our pics out...

Our Math lessons included sorting shapes.
We are doing super on this skill, too!

We were scientists this week and used magnifiers to discover SUNFLOWERS
then we painted those beauties!
Next week I will upload pics of our GALLERY....

The next few pics are of table activities.
We do these first thing in the morning...
what a fun way to begin our day!

Here is how we painted our moon for "Hey Diddle Diddle"
with bubbles!!!

The science table is always worth checking out....

We learning a ball rolling greeting game during
Morning Meeting, here the kiddos are making up
their own version...NICE JOB!

We switched Table Activities mid week...
Here are our new ones...

We have also been focusing on writing our NAMES
the KINDERGARTEN way...
One Capital, the rest LOWER CASE
Please help your child practice at home, too!
Here was a fun way to practice....Rainbow Scratch Off Paper!

One of the best sorts I have seen in awhile...
This smarty sorted the aliens by EYE COLOR!
WOW...that was some detailed work!

Finally, here are some pics of great learning stuff
in our classroom....ask your k kid about them...

And here is a bit of what is going on
at the crazy O'Duggan homestead...
Mrs.Pilger brought over real Chicago Pizza
on Wednesday night....YUMMMM!

We found and developed some OLD disposable cameras...

Lee was a crazy teenager, now he's making his own way in Wisconsin Dells at the Moose Jaw,
and Pippin is about 100 pounds and 3 feet taller!
