2026 Week 33 The Farm and May Day!

Happy Piggy Day in K!

We're wrapping up the farm unit this week. 

We did one of my most favorite activities,  baking bread! Yep,  right in the classroom!

I wish we could send you the aroma that wafted out of our room and into the hallway...Mmmmm!

We even made butter to go with our homemade bread. Page down for the delicious looking photos!

Here are the cutie patootie piggies we made on Tuesday.  We also worked together to create a can-have-are chart about pigs...

 

We began a chicken project on Thursday.

This was last Friday's lesson on the Earth's Land...

On Monday we took a look at the Earth's Water...

We finished this fun,  new-to-me chapter book, Dory Fantasmagory! It was recommended to me by my 9 year old Granddaughter.  It was pretty good!

Wednesday's centers included the following 4 stations:

Station 1 with me,

Here we are Wednesday morning taking turns adding ingredients to the bread ..

 

We also made this delicious butter by shaking shaking shaking heavy whipping cream! Mr. Tom had the kids count to 100 as they shook it.  What yummy fun!

We will miss this little guy as his family moved to Florida.
