2022 Week 23 TWOSDAY +2 on account of the snow day and America The Beautiful!

 Wowza!  What a wacky week! 

We will get back on track with ACTION100 words and books next week... Thanks for your patience!

We did manage to learn a bit about the flag and the eagle,  two classic American Symbols! 

On Thursday we celebrated TWOSDAY 2-22-22 PLUS 2! Because of the snow day on the actual 2-22-22day we had to celebrate on Thursday,  hence the plus 2! Haha!  Almost perfect! 

We had centers with everything 2s!

2022 Week 22 Valentines and 100th Day!

 . Happy Valentines Day,  Kindergarten! 

On Monday we opened our Valentines!  

What lovely fun! 

Thank you for all the beautiful cards and gifts! 

After Valentines we really got to focus on the countdown to our 100 day!

We've had a blast building 100 cup towers...

Here is our 100 day station! 

 

We've had quite a gathering of artists in the dramatic play area as of late...

And lots of builders on the carpet! 

In Reading/Language Arts this week we took a look at proper nouns...

Tuesday's centers included:

We made these cutie patootie picture frames for you! 

Last Friday we brainstormed items that generate heat and sorted them into natural and manmade...

Here's some of our 100 Day decorations...

One of our 100 day activities is a fun book called The Wolf's Chicken Stew... it ends with the wolf baking cookies for 100 chicks!  So we had to find 100 chicks hidden around our room! 

This lovely lady found Chick #100!

Thank you for sending in 100 food items for our 100 day gorp! The kids are always surprised how little space 100 small items take up! 

 

On Wednesday we created these fun 100 dot pictures...

Finally Thursday arrived... our actual 100th Day! 

The kids had 10 stations to choose from... all 100 themed!
