2025 Week 6 Squirrels and Scarecrows!

We will send this beautiful book home next Wednesday with a short and fun homework activity!


We played catch up in science on Monday due to Friday's all school assembly for 

L.A. C.A.R.E.S. 

Learning!

Which was our social studies theme for the week!

In Science we finished up 

Animals Change and Grow by looking at adults and offspring.



On letter Tt day I have the kids draw their favorite teacher! I just love this one!









We have opened a new station all about 
SQUIRRELS!

The kids loved the Uu day snack
of Upside Down Umbrella cupcakes!

2025 Week 5 Owls and Leaves

 Our letter of the day series is just zooming along!

I had a little guy ask if they were going to first grade after Zz!  Haha!  And Nope.
 



This adorable book will be sent home after Zz with an interactive piece for you to do at home.
Don't worry,it's easy, you'll just be voting for your favorite page!

I love it when they play teacher!


On Monday we had a Social Studies lesson on FRIENDS AT SCHOOL.






I just LOVE their illustrations!
And speaking of Friends, look what this team built together at choice time:

Wowza!  We did a lot of painting this week!

Our theme for the beginning of the week was owls.

Syllables are one of the skills for this week's (and next) Reading Language Arts time.

For Wednesday's centers we learned how to 
"Read the Room" for station #1



Station 2 was beginning sounds with me...


Station 3 was Owl Vowels AEIOU...


Station 4 was pattern block letters...



This little guy finished ALL the beginning sounds!

Big News: 
Our first Family Project was sent home!
Please get as many people in your family to participate as you can.
Your child should not do this alone, as it is a FAMILY project...haha!
You will be creating a PUMPKIN together.
I have sent home (in Friday's Homework Folder)
some basic supplies.
You can just use those or add more or do this paper pumpkin anyway your family decides!
Sparkles are always an option!

Your child will share these at group time.
We will hang all the pumpkins in the hallway for the month of October!
