2026 Week 25 Read Across America and Dr. Seuss

Welcome March!
Every year I make "green eggs and ham" out of white chocolate, pretzels, and M&Ms for the k kids! I .am going to miss sharing these, guess I'll have to eat them all, Haha!

Page down to see the kids make their own for snack time...

Monday's science was about FORCES:
We had a Read The Room activity as we found all the forces and recorded them.
We will focus on GRAVITY on Friday.

The Family Projects are looking great!
This week we celebrated all things Dr.Seuss and Read-Across-America!

These "Thing 1 and Thing 2s" (all the way to 15 as we used our folder numbers) sure turned out cute!

Thank you for sending your Dr. Seuss books. We made a big and beautiful graph that took up the entire pathway to the door!
This year, Dr.Seuss' ABC Book was the winner.

Thursday afternoon we had "Writer's Workshop" !
The kiddos stopped by 3 stations to draw and write.

Mr. Tom's Station was Colorful Eggs and Ham...
Mrs.Heier and I had Who/What would you eat Green Eggs and Ham with?

And Ms.Mohs had Wocket in Pocket.
Be looking for these Lucky Ducks coming home soon!

Tuesday was Wocket in My Pocket day!

The 5th Graders also came in to read to us!
This was an amazing experience!

We've been imagining Dr. Seuss creatures all week!

On Tuesday we also created these cutie patootie Cat in the Hats. We practiced our whole name!

Here is our Dr.Seuss sensory bin...

We made our own snack:
These were Colorful Green Eggs and Ham made with white chocolate,  M&Ms, and pretzels!

Wednesday's centers included:
Station 1 with Ms.Mohs
Flipping and reading Green Eggs Sight Words

Station 2 with Mr. Tom
Interpreting a Graph

Station 2 with me
Creating a Dr.Seuss creature

Station 4 with Ms.Heier
Colorful Eggs and Ham
Read the Room  Color Word Search

Here are more of our imaginative creations!

Because Ms.Mohs is well prepared and so great with classroom management, I've more time to do these kind of fun things with the kids!
Win-win-win situation!

These Thing 1 and Thing 2 handprint creatures are one of my favorites!
