K Kids amaze me with how much they are thankful for...
their families, friends, school (I even made it on a list or two!), planet Earth, God (yes, I know I teach in a public school, however religion is part of the socialization process in many families),

It warms my heart to see such gratitude!
This week's book selections have covered everything from the letter Rr, to Wampanoags, to Pilgrims, to turkeys, and Thanksgiving.
We had a "mini-play" as we retold the 1st Thanksgiving story.
We came as the helpful Wampanoags....

Mrs. Kalmes' kids came as the yummy,but unhunted and uneaten, turkeys!
We shared our "feast"...
Each of us brought a small serving of cereal, nuts, chocolate, or candy to share...MMMMMM!!!!

Looks like a great time. Karen and I used to have one room be pigrims and one be native Americans and we would open our rooms and set a big long table and enjpy our stone soup and home made bread. Fun times.
