With my father's impending death,
here's some HAPPY news!
Adelaide Fjaer Brasic
was born in Atlanta to my son Graham
and his lovely wife, Melissa,
on Monday at 12:02 am, right on her due date!
Our week started out with new morning challenges:
Gingerbread uppercase/lowercase matching...
Holiday words...
short a puzzles...
We had our first Kindergarten Switch-a-roo of the year!
We went to the other rooms to work on wrapping paper and cards. In here we made a lovely poem about our handprints!
We had a nice science lesson on our 5 senses...
We created a fun little book to go with this new found science knowledge!
Oh, we have another 100 club member!
Tuesday's centers involved hot cocoa and the polar express!
One station was to CREATE and EAT a little, yummy train!
Here's ending sounds hot cocoa...
and finally, teens with MARSHMALLOWS!
We had new morning challenges on Thursday:
MERRY CHRISTMAS spelling...
Santa puzzle...
and vowel practice...
Choice time has been fun with a whole box packed full of Christmas sorting!
We've been making paper chains as a team!
They actually made it all the way around the room,
plus more!
On Wednesday we designed and wrote about hot chocolate!
Thursday finally arrived with
pajama day!
We had a hot chocolate bar!
Here the kids are helping to make this liquidy goodness!
My hubby buys these adorable Santa mugs every year for the k kids!
