Hope you had a great Spring break
(ya, I know, that's a lot of snow for Spring!)
Here's a few highlights from my trip to Indianapolis:
We stopped in TWICE to see my boy, Leland, in Wisconsin Dells..both on the way down and the way back!
My daughter, Shae, and I always have a craft project to do!
These turned out lovely!
We had a ladies night out and had dessert at CAKE BAKE a swanky, super fancy house made into a perfect, frilly, girly bakery!
Oprah added this place to her O list!
Reservations are weeks out!
It really was delightful!
Here's the reason I drove 1200 miles in a car with NO heat!
My grandbabies!
They are the best!
Our time goes so fast in Indianapolis!
Meanwhile back in Minnesota,
Snow Day Cake Bake replica cake!
Raspberry Champaign Cake
Theirs was better...
And prettier. A whole lot prettier!
But this time I get to eat the WHOLE cake!
On Wednesday we did our best to catch up.

Counting by 5s with Bunnies...
This Kind Kid brought us a K snack:
Krave cereal...a new taste test for many of us!
Yummy!
Wednesday afternoon we had a brand new activity where the kids had to ask classmates to read a word off their page and sign their name.
They did excellent!
Here's the first round of rainbows!

Our weather station is up and running!
Good Reads!
(notice a chapter book, Captain Underpants! This will be taking up much of our reading time for awhile. It is our first chapter book!)
We had our annual Fools' Five Race program on Friday morning. Mr. Schmaltz dresses up every year if the kids raise over $5000! They did it again!
All proceeds go toward cancer research and helping those who have cancer.
The committee helped me 4 years ago when I was diagnosed with acinic cell carcinoma in my parotid gland.
It is so wonderful to be here to give back to this worthy cause!
