Just a gentle reminder that the kindergarten kids are required to wear snow pants and boots out for recess until the snow and mud have dried up on the playground. The supervisors will make that decision sometime in April and I'll pass that news happily on to you as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you are welcome to leave snow pants and boots at school. Just let me know..

The whole bunch of us also went to Chanhassen Dinner Theater to see Mama Mia! The musical will be there for much of the summer, if you get a chance, you should go... it was delightful!

Our newist discovery table is full of "soil" (black beans), pots, flowers, seed packets, and gardening tools. What fun! Thank you for the donations of black beans, we'll be accepting more through next week.
We celebrated another 6 year old!
Monday was cloud day. We read many books about clouds and then painted these fabulous pictures of what a cloud might look like.
Tuesday's centers included:
Making it rain! While reviewing evaporation, condensation, and precipitation we used shaving cream clouds and blue paint to show part of the process.
Ms.Walrich's table was star word review...
We sorted pictures of Earth's materials... land, air, water
It was "raining cats and dogs " for read the room... counting by 2s was the skill
Ms. Harden guided a prediction and graphing experiment with "Huff and Puff". The kids took turns predicting how many breaths it would take and then blowing objects across the table.
What windy fun!
Wednesday many kiddos created these whirligigs to play with the wind!
This excellent student brought English muffins and Easter eggs for our letter Ee snack!
We've been learning about the water cycle...
And created one to take home!
