the drama department from Winona State performed a fantastic play, The Last of the Dragons!

Monday afternoon we created these
cutie patootie Cat in The Hats!
We practiced writing our first, middle, and last names!
Apologies in advance if the middle names are not spelled correctly as I do not have a listing with their middle names.
One year we even had the WRONG middle name, it was just wishful thinking on the kid's part! HAHAHA!

We've also unpacked some of the transportation toys for our upcoming transportation unit.

Tuesday's centers included:
Making our own green eggs and ham candies!
The k kids assembled all the ingredients, added melted almond bark, and topped then with M&Ms!
One needed to be green, the other was their choice... what delicious fun!
Ms. Harden had another sink or float science experiment but this time with OOBLECK!
We created our own Dr.Seuss creation with playdough and whole bunches of supplies!
Ms. Walrich helped the kids with our very first
WRITE THE ROOM!
The kids had to find words around the room that began with the letters in HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR.SEUSS!

All the kids, including the teachers, had to pose with an item for an upcoming Lucky Duck book...stay tuned for details!
