2021 Week 11 Family Food Gratitude!

 Whoo hooo!

I have a new Grandbaby!

Maiken Rae Brasic was born on Monday in

Atlanta, Geogia!

Hopefully we will get to meet her soon!

She is my oldest son, Graham, and his lovely wife, Melissa's 2nd child and she is absolutely PERFECT!!!

This week in Kindergarten we were

TALKING TURKEY!!!

This fun game was a whole group project to roll and add feathers to our turkey!

What feathery fun!

And is it really kindergarten unless we are making a turkey handprint project?  Haha!

This week in K we are learning about adjectives!
We brainstormed adjectives to describe turkeys...

Choice time can be decoding time!

For centers on Tuesday we had a challenge to create a turkey out of playdough and feathers and other accessories...what fun!

We also had a read the room activity...
color word turkeys had to found!

Mrs. Flathers station was plenty of hands on puzzles and games~ all food or turkey themed!

Mrs. Sauers helped with this lovely beginning sound turkey activity...

And I played Turkey Teen Bump with the kids...
so much fun!

Oh my goodness!
You are going to LOVE these cutie-patootie turkey puppets
(made from my hubby's work gloves!  Funny how they always "loose" the fingers this time of year...haha!)

Thursday's centers included:
bdgpq turkey sort...

Mrs. Flathers and the puzzles and games round 2...

 My station was turkey +1

And another read the room Thanksgiving style!

At the beginning of the month we began our LETTER OF THE WEEK series.  Snacks for the team will only be on Wednesdays and you will be able to sign up for a week at conferences.  I brought last week's Mm Midnight Brownies and this week's Ss Strawberries.
What yummy fun!

Oh my goodness!

We are only missing a few ...it's not too late to send your family's in if you haven't.
