2021 Week 10 Outer Space!

What an OUT OF THIS WORLD week we had!

We had so much fun learning about the stars, the moon, the sun and planets!

Tuesday's centers included:

Reading Robots!

Outer Space Beginning Sounds with Jillian's Mom!
(if anyone wants to volunteer, Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 1:30-2:30 is a perfect time!  Just reach out and I'll set you up!)

Counting Backwards Rocket Ships
(and a missing number!)

This table (and floor) was all the puzzles and games from my magical box of outer space activities!
What fun!

Galaxy Playdough!
(soooo much glitter!)

One of our bonuses was to draw our own robots...
I love it!

Here are some of our independent stations from around the room...

We are now practicing our LAST NAMES!
Our first official project are these
LAST NAME ROCKETS!

In Science we are learning about
Living/NonLiving

The grammar component of our literacy program was
VERBS!  These are fun as we get to actual act our our verb...
We read several lovely books about constellations and then we designed our own!

Thursday's centers were also Outer Space themed with on encore of galaxy playdough and the puzzle table!

Mrs. Sauers and Ms. Amy tag teamed
this fun numeral recognition robot station...

My station was STAMP-A-WORD
outer space style!

We practiced our math skill of
greater than and less than...

At the beginning of the month we began our LETTER OF THE WEEK series.  Snacks for the team will only be on Wednesdays and you will be able to sign up for a week at conferences.  I brought last week's Mm Midnight Brownies and this week's Ss Strawberries.
What yummy fun!

Oh my goodness!
The family project turkeys are adorable!
We are only missing a few ...it's not too late to send your family's in if you haven't.

Wednesday's project was a study on concentric circles.
These are always a crowd pleaser!
