Gingerbread Week continues!
Be sure to page down to see all the delicious happenings as we mixed, rolled out, and baked gingerbread right in our classroom!
Ms.Kay read us The Gingerbread Cowboy on Tuesday as I caught pink eye and was having troubles seeing! (It took 2 months of that virus floating around our school for me to finally catch it...I thought I was safe!)
I am feeling (and looking) better today!
Thank you, Ms.Kay!
Oh aren't these gingerbread houses sweet!
The Gingerbread Bakery is still so much fun!
Cup stacking is anyways a hit!
We've nice green Christmas-y ones...
Did you know jingle bells and magna tiles go so well together?
We ate a gingerbread cookie and then graphed HOW we began eating it.
What a fun way to represent data!
These cookie making photos loaded in backwards order... enjoy our delicious fun in reverse!
We finally got to eat our creations:
Each table was set up for serious cookie decorating!
Fresh out of the oven!
Everybody rolled out their own cookie!
Each take had a turn mixing up a batch of cookie dough...mmmm!
On Thursday we read about and created these
cutie patootie REINDEER!
More to come on that soon!
Here's last Friday's work...
We also put on a performance of Dr.Jean's Color Farm as we practiced spelling color words!
