Wowza! Where did this week go?
Thanks to you everyone who came up for Math Night! Wasn't that fun? Ms.Ostrander does a great job planning and organizing these yearly events. See you next year for Reading Night!
We began our week with Earth Day activities!
On Tuesday we began our Little Red Hen and Bread mini unit!
We made bread in our classroom on Wednesday! The aroma was amazing! The kids each had an ingredient to put into our bread machine. It was so much fun cooking together!
We have also been busy creating these cutie patootie chickens!
While the bread was cooking, Katie, Oren's mom, brought in 2 baby goats! Oh my! Cuteness overload! Thank you so much, Katie, for taking your time to visit us!
Playtime "on the farm!"
Wednesday's centers included:
Station 1: Eating that delicious bread! The kids spread on their own toppings. Everyone loved it!
More bread photos farther down...
Station 2 with Mr Tom: unscramble Sight words
Station 3 with Jill: adding pigs in a pen!
Station 4 with Ms.Kay: Read the Room Sheep and Color Word Style!
Station 5: Goat Addition with Nicole!
Bread photos...I wish you could smell the aroma!
Eli, a 5th grader, comes to help at centers once in awhile! What a lucky day for him!
Here are a few good charts to read from around the room:
Finley and his mom and sister brought
