Meet my hubby, John, and our little, old less than 5 pound dog, Chiquita!
It's officially fall when she won't walk by herself on our daily walks! Haha!
Aren't these just the sweetest! Our decorative corn was so much fun to create as we actually had to use a PUDDLE of glue! What fun!
This week was also scarecrow themed and...
Candy corn week!
On Monday we learned that we eat different parts of plants...
And we actually ATE some of those different parts: roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and seeds! Yummy!
We are making a Memory Book to send home at the end of the year!
Already our 2 entrees for September and October show so much growth!
Choice time, our favorite time!
A donation of old receipt paper has kept the kids sooo engaged!
The corn table was a hoot as we shucked an entire 10 pound bag of corn still on the cob!
What a cute scarecrow!
We created these cuties on Tuesday and painted them at centers on Wednesday.
Speaking of centers, Station 1 was a variety of choices from our new stations...
Station 2 was Candy Corn ABC
Station 3 was Candy Corn Beginning Sounds with Jill...
Station 4 was Candy Corn Addition with me!
And Station 5 was painting those fun Scarecrows!
On Wednesday we participated in a guided drawing YouTube showing us how to draw a Candy Corn!!!
Wow! The kids are amazing artists!
Thursday we worked on several scarecrow activities but my phone had died so no pics. Sorry!
