2026 Week 18 Mittens!

I just have to share last Friday's sight word review!

We had a snowball toss, each snowball had a sight word on it that they read before they threw it!

This week we had tons of mittens fun!

We will be creating a counting by 2s Lucky Duck book with these cute shots:

We retold the folktale
What fun!

We created a character map and a Venn diagram using the data in Jan Brett's folktale and in Alvin Treselt's version:

Wednesday's centers included:

Station 1

Read the Room

Color word sleds

Station 2
A pair of friends

Station 3

Ms. Mohs is reading to the kids at storytime daily!

On Wednesday we had Mitten Day! We wore our mittens for a writing activity! What a hoot as we discovered we can do hard things! We also wrote with our eyes covered!

This graph is always a favorite!

On Tuesday we created these last name snowpeople!
