This was Dental Health week in Kindergarten!!!

Scroll down for Dental Health fun and learning!

Our science this week was comparing natural objects to human made objects.
The kiddos did a great job with this!

We are getting a sneak peek for next week's Dr.Seuss celebration. Please see the note about sending in your Dr. Seuss books and the dress up days for Read-Across-America.

During centers this week our 4 station were:
Station 1
Practicing brushing our teeth and playing a dental health skills game with me!

Station 2
Ending Sounds with Teeth and Mr. Tom

Station 3:
Counting on Teeth
With Ms.Mohs

And Station 4:
Dental Health Playdough

The puzzles have been a hit lateley!

We created these HUGE teeth with a graph for your kiddo to track teeth brushing.
They wil recieve sugar free gum upon completion!
No judgment on missed days, we are also teaching and modeling honesty.

Free toothbrushes!

Here are a few new stations around the room:

Here is one of our charts from this week:
The majority of the k kids have NOT lost a tooth yet!

The dramatic play area is set up for a big old birthday party as we celebrate Cliffod the Big Red Dog (February) and Dr. Seuss (March)!

BIG NEWS:

Please send in your child's Dr.Seuss books for fun sorting and graphing activities.

Books written by Dr.Seuss or Theo LeSieg (Dr.Seuss' psuedonym)are the ones we are looking for.

A Cat in The Hat logo on the cover means it is a book written in rollicking rhyme LIKE Dr.Seuss but is not a guarantee that he was the author.

Please double check. Thank you!
