Another fast and busy weekend:
Shopping, Red Lobster, and more shopping
with Mrs. Pilger on Friday...fun and productive!
The last Farmers' Market with my sweetie on Saturday.
Godfather's Pizza and a movie with my family~
that's my movie purse....
Then on to a Halloween party with Maeve!
2 Musketeers!
Pospichal-Heublien's always have the best food and decorations!
Sunday was interesting with friend and photographer,
Andrea Oevering,
taking 1 1/2 hours of pictures of this old farmhouse!
She captured so much of "us"!
Then kitty snuggling!
They'll be ready for their "forever home" soon.
If interested, contact me...they really are sweet!
Did a little more decorating...
Family project from a few years ago...Pumpkin Houses!
and finally carved pumpkins!
So this is why Fionn said the quote from the title of this post,
Maeve wasn't interested in carving a pumpkin this year.
They grow up too fast!
Fionn assures me he's going to stay young a bit longer than his sister!
Sorcha, too!
This week in Kindergarten:
Whooo Hooo! Our Halloween celebrations are Monday afternoon!
Please SEND your child's costume with them to school.
Please double check that your child will be able
to put on the costume with minimal assistance.
No blood or weapons or too scary themes as some k kids are still
a little "wary of the scary!"
Thank you in advance to all the wonderful volunteers who helped put on our parties and to the P.L.A.Y. group for the snack.
Your child may also bring a treat for the class.
The rest of the week will be used for assessment for report cards
...end of the 1st quarter is Friday already!
NO SCHOOL for kids next Monday~workshops for teachers.
In Reading we will wrap up the letter of the day series!
Math finds us patterning, counting, and drawing numerals.
Our themes are Halloween wrap-up and Fall animals
I will be home from 4-6 on Halloween to welcome your little "monster!"
