First of all...just to be clear...kids are REQUIRED to wear
snow boots and snow pants

until further notice.
Yes, even if it is a nice, soft day
as the playground is still snowy, wet and/or muddy and,
chances are,
will be for at least a month.
Kids are just too uncomfortable if their clothes are wet, plus the custodial staff thanks us for keeping mud OUT of the classrooms.
We will let you know when the playground supervisors give us the thumbs up for no more winter wear.

What a crazy Monday!
As you can imagine, St. Paddy's day at the O'Duggan's is a big deal!
After 10 dozen green cupcakes were baked and frosted,
I was ready!
We began with our St. Paddy's Morning Challenges
(actually 2 rounds of them this week)

While we were in music and phy ed those tricky little leprechauns visited us!
They love all things green and made quite a lovely little mess!
My favorite, they gave ME 100 points on the abc game!
They hid our green markers!
After the dust settled we had a nice little snack...

and we set out Lucky Charms for the Leprechauns...
we ate the rest!
During lunch the leprechauns messed up our shoes and placed a coin in every one's left shoe!
They also hid 100 coins for us to find!
We found them all this year!
