Week 8 Ww Xx Yy Zz, Numerals, and HALLOWEEN themes!

Okay, You know I have to do it!
Here are a few highlights of my fast trip to Atlanta to see my son and daughter-in-law...
 Graham is building a building right where that red crane is...he's changing the skyline of Atlanta!  Wow!

Melissa and I went to Country Living Magazine's Fair...what fun to talk to the editors! 

 Meanwhile the boys stayed home with their own project!


 This is the iconic Walking Dead bridge...
Yep, we posed like zombies!

Mission: Escape Atlanta was one of the best experiences of my adult life!
We had 60 minutes to solve the mystery of the missing diamond and to get our selves out the "study" we were locked in by solving riddles, puzzles, looking at clues!
Fantastic, frustrating, crazy  fun!
 Yes, we won!

Tuesday was back to business!
We had new Morning Challenges:
Bat Numeric Order with tallies...

Monster ABC order... 

Ghost Ordering... 

 The kiddos made these witches on Ww day with Mrs. Sauers while I was gone...


I brought MIDNIGHT BROWNIES as the kids won the ABC game again!

It was also my turn to bring the Xx treat!

 This guy brought the Ww treat from Monday...wafer cookies...MMMM!

The kiddos also made these mummies with Mrs. Sauers...spooky fun!

 This lady brought us Yy Cookies on Wednesday!

Wednesday we worked on sorting out those tricky letters of bdpqg...keep practicing at home!

 We created our Halloween Cats!

 We also created these adorable witches!

On Thursday we had a Kindergarten 
Switch-a-Roo!
Mrs. Kalmes and Mrs. Pilger's kids came into our room to make the Halloween Cats while we went to Mrs. Pilger's room to make ghosts and to Mrs. Kalmes' room to make bat bracelets! 






 This kiddo brought the Zz snack!
