2017 Week 6 Letters Qq, Rr, Ss, Tt ; Fire Safety!

.
.
Here at Lewiston-Altura Elementary we try to focus on our school family and have fun together.
Here's Thursday fun and creative get together in Rochester.
I really am lucky to work with and for a super district!
Last weekend we drove to the North Shore to spend some time with my Atlanta grandbaby and daughter-in-law.
Two of my favorite things!
They were in Minnesota to celebrate with her family.
My son wasn't able to join them as he is in Key West volunteering through his engineering job.
Lucky us to get to see them!

Baby toes in Lake Superior!  How cute!
It was a great sea glass finding trip!
On Monday we had new morning challenges:
Fire Truck abc order...
 Fire Safety Counting...
 Fire Truck numeric order...
Our ABC book is coming along!
You'll get to see it soon!
I brought Qq treat on Monday...Quaker Oat Bars!
 Here's some more family projects...

Monday afternoon we created these cute little firetrucks after doing a labeling project.

WOW!  We get lots of compliments on these cutie pumpkins!
 We've a new password everyday!
This really cool kid brought the Rr treat...
Really good cereal and pre-raisins? (grapes!)

Yes!  We've another 100 counter!
We took out the little tool set, what a fun way to work on fine motor skills!

We've been practicing STOP DROP AND ROLL!

Fire Fighter Matt talked to us about many fire safety facts.
Fire Fighter Ted showed us the fire fighters uniform and equipment...

He showed us how he'd get low and go to find us if he had to .
He also reminded us not to be afraid of him even though he looked a little scary and sounded even scarier with the breathing mask on.
Fire fighter Mike taught us all about the trucks!
