Monday and Tuesday we focused on food and family and "Thanksgiving leftovers!"
We sorted food into categories...
Monday's morning challenges included:
Pumpkin pie count and clip...
Pie letter sounds and alphabetic order...
and turkey ABC-abc match!
We're really working with sounds and words now!
As a whole group we sounded out words to discover where the Tt sound /t/ was.
Beginning, Middle, or End?
Then they worked on their own pages!
Tuesday's centers included:
Brother and Sister beginning sounds...
~at family dice roll...
Family of Numbers to 30...read and dot
and Time Sort...Now or Then?
On Wednesday this Terrific Kid brought Trees for Tt snack!

We opened the gingerbread bakery...more pictures next week!
This is a fun little game of polar bears and penguins
(we learned they would never really meet in the real world)
but the game is fun!
The gingerbread village is also up and running!
We reviewed fiction and nonfiction with our penguin pages!

One thing I LOVE about Action100 is the fact that I get to read so much to the kids! My favorite part of the day!
We are at 20 steps in the classroom...how are you doing at home?
