Last weekend might not have looked like Spring yet...
But my dog was very happy about the lingering snow!
The chickens like the longer days... we're getting lots of eggs!
Monday's new morning challenges included:

Last Friday the kiddos got to 30 points for our ABC game! The reward they chose was a popcorn party and movie! We're watching Charlotte's Web (the classic cartoon! ) we'll watch a bit of it everyday during snack time until we're done.

On Monday afternoon we crafted these adorable hens to go with our Little Red Hen unit!

On Tueday we made bread!
We read 3 different versions of Little Red Hen first.
Then we each helped put in an ingredient into the bread maker.
The kids were fascinated by the yeast (it really is a pretty cool ingredient when you think of it! )
Oh, I wish you could smell the aroma drifting out of our room!
Ms. Harden had a fun lesson for the kiddos about singular and plural nouns!

Wednesday morning our class went to Mrs.Pilger's room to make butter, meanwhile her class came to me to make (more!) bread!
