So this happened last weekend...
My youngest niece was married in Sparta WI!
Love her soooo much!
On Monday the kiddos made these adorable little ghosts from baking soda and glue.
We will use them in an upcoming STEM challenge!
I posted in Instagram about it if you are interested you can look me up!
Monday's new morning challenges were:
Ghostly ABC order...
Ghost Numeric Order...
and spelling HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I set out the extra toothpicks and gumdrops from last week's 2d shape building activity and asked the kiddos if they could build a 3d structure. They did great! We saved several for models for the STEM activity coming soon.
We opened a new learning station for choice time.
It's in the hallway and very popular!
This kids just read or solve the activity.
How fun!
We've a new BONE station to explore!
There are several activities to put a skeleton together.
AWESOME job, kiddos!
And the engineering of cup structures continues at fever pitch in here!
We also created spinner ghosts to play with on Monday. What fun!
Probability was also introduced with this ghost flipper game...
Monday afternoon we designed and painted these adorable HALLOWEEN CATS...
Choice time!
Kids love playdo !
and kids love the chalkboard this year!
and I just love this drawing!
The smartboard has also been a "smart"choice!
Thanks for taking time to do our quick homework nightly.
We will get into a predictable pattern very soon!

This week I bought the fixings for the kids to make a
MONSTER MOUTH
for letter Mm week!
What marvelous munchable fun!
After learning about our skeleton whole group, the kids were able to put together a skeleton on their own
(well, mostly on their own...there were several ribs and hips switched around...Haha!)
We learned that the glutius maximus was attached to the back of their pelvic bone. That is a great joke when you are 5 and 6!
Oh my goodness!
These homework pages are a hoot!
Thanks for helping your k kid design a costume for me!
Wednesday afternoon we created these cutie-patootie mummies after learning about the real mummies of the ancient world.
