On Monday we had many 100 day activities:
patterning a 100 chart...
Creating a picture using 1 0 0
Journalling 100 things we would eat...
And how we'd spend $100...
Of course we had to take 100 Day pictures!
The kids have been having a sparkly time practicing star words in the glitter tray! Although this says 100!
We're writing numbers to 100 on this old adding machine paper...
We read The Wolf's Chicken Stew, a great 100 day book where the wolf bakes 100 pancakes, 100 donuts, a 100 pound cake in hopes of fattening up a chicken but unbeknownst to the wolf she's been sharing it with her 100 chicks. They love the wolf for his "generosity" and shower him with 100 kisses. In the end, Uncle Wolf does not get chicken stew instead Mama Chicken makes him lunch and he goes home to make the chicks 100 cookies! So sweet!
I hid 100 chicks around the room and we had to find them and place them in the 100s chart. What fun!
We didn't find the last chick for an entire day!
