We sorted animals into
Diurnal and Nocturnal Animals for science...
We are having fun still searching for the letters in our names. We have now added the skill of substitution of beginning sound to everyone's name.
Example: Marcia on N day in Narcia
It is a good way to practice rhyming and to get familiar with substitution of phonemes for later lessons!
We are beginning our grammar component of Language Arts. This week we listed nouns for people.

We will have upwards of 120 sight words.
I will send home sight word baggies as soon as we get a few more words. Please keep them at home and add the new words weekly.
