First of all...WOWZA!
What a performance!
My hope for you as young parents is to be able to take your children to any and all performances that you can! Free or expensive...silly or serious! Just go!
Oh the memories you will make!
I am lucky to have a bunch of young adult children who STILL wish to go to plays, musicals, concerts, and museums with me! And when I visit my "far away" kids, they now take ME to all those things!

Anyway, this one was one of the best I've seen!
On Monday and Tuesday we worked on our Valentine containers! Thank you to Brandy (head cook) for the large cans! She even cleaned and peeled the labels for us!!!
Please send your child's valentines by Tuesday.
Monday is even better so we can get them "mailed!"
Monday's science was a quick and fun lesson on states of matter!
Tuesday the birthday fairies hit our room pretty hard!
It's been quite a "birthday week"
(I've never had a birthday week before! haha!)
Amidst the party explosion we learned about dental health. One of you sweet families gave me a Target card for Christmas so I finally got one of these handy dandy dentist playdough sets! Thanks!
Here are a few new learning stations around our room:
We began writing journals this week!
Right now we are copying dictated sentences and one fill in the blank. Later in the year they will have more autonomy with their writing!
Oh, and we are practicing bubble letters just for fun!
On Tuesday we made happy teeth and sad teeth!
ABC order teeth:
And I'll leave you with this:
(I was born in the 60s, just turned 60, and we just saw this musical!)
We also created these giant toothbrushes to chart toothbrushing habits. Bring it back in a month for a fun tooth friendly snack!
