Aren't these the cutest?
We made these on Friday after posting last week's blog.
Choice time is always a learning time!
The kiddos created these lovely Lady Liberties after reading 3 books about her history!
The kiddos helped sort out materials for centers... thanks!
Speaking of centers, here are Wednesday's 5 stations:
Station 1 Painting Dr.Seuss Hats
Station 2 Cat in the Hat Sound it Out
Station 3 Creating a Dr.Seuss-ish creature (scroll down to see the competed cutie patooties!)
Station 4 Read the Room with Green Eggs and Ham color words
Station 5 Thing 1 and Thing 2 Clear the Board (counting on addition) with Grandma Vickie, Hadley's Grandma! She will be with us fur centers through most of the spring! Aren't we lucky? Thank you, Grandma Vickie!
Here are those imaginative creatures...
Friday was our ACTUAL 100th Day of K!!!!!
We celebrated all day as well as squeezed in some Dr. Seuss fun!
This book graph is an absolute favorite activity.
Kids brought in any Dr. Seuss books they might have and we made a physical graph with them!
What good fun and learning!
Our snack was a fun 100 day surprise!
Thank you for the 100 edible items for us to create 100 day gorp!
We will be sharing Friday afternoon after I post this but believe me the excitement is high!
The 4th graders came in on Friday to read to us!
What fun that I hopes becomes a regular event.
Nothing is better for my teacher heart than seeing the kids play amongst the books and taking a break to actually READ the books!
These were bonuses for our 100 day!
100 day selfie!
