2023 Week 27 Shamrocks and Leprechauns!

Here is a sneak peek of my fast Florida trip to hang out with my Florida family!

My oldest Granddaughter is a kindergartener this year so we have a LOT in common! Haha!

 .

This is my oldest son and my youngest grandbaby!

My sweet daughter-in-law booked us tickets for a city wide scavenger hunt with an Alice in Wonderland theme!
  It was super fun!

We did soooo much in 3 short days, the manatee center, the sea turtle institute, an art festival right along the ocean, and my fav: BODY SURFING in the OCEAN! I was literally my granddaugher's surfboard!
It was amazing!

She's not quite sure of her Grandma... yet!!!

Goodbye,  West Palm Beach... see you after the hot hot summer is over!

Back in Minnesota, we are gearing up for St.Patrick's day!
Here we are making leprechauns...

Several times a day I hide this little guy around the room for the kids to find.  I tell you, the most fun activities are FREE~they LOVE this!

On Tuesday we created these gorgeous shamrocks!

The housekeeping area is full of St. Patrick's Day decorations!  Even the babies get decorated!

We are sentence builders!

On Wednesday we created these keepsakes!

They will be included in your child's Memory Book that we have been working on all year.

It's never too late to send in your family project if you haven't!  I will add it to this month's awesome collection!

The kids are amazing at decorating our Ireland station...

Wednesday's centers included the following 5 stations:

Sound it out St. Patrick style with Grandma Vickie...

Minty green playdough!

page down for so many lovely playdough creations....

Ways to make 10 with Piper's mom...

Practicing teens with leprechauns...

And my favorite.... More Precious Than Gold... writing our friends' names!

This is a nice blends activity...

This is word building pots of gold...

And just for old time's sake...ABC order!

This one was counting by 5s and 10s:

We wrote about our Leprechaun wishes:

We made a Leprechaun trap all together.
We are hopeful it works!

Here are the playdough photos from centers....

On Friday we arrived to a glittery, green, and delicious mess~

Those are ALL of our green markers in a tower!

We didn't catch a leprechaun but we sure had fun trying!
