Here she is!
My mom!
All settled...well, not quite.
It's hard to whittle down 30 years of stuff to fit into a 1.5 bedroom apartment. But we are making progress!
I just LOVE the piggy occupations!
Here are a few from this bonus homework assignment.
It is also our very last Lucky Duck book of the year.
While sorting through my mom's stuff I came across this tub of beads. I set them out and the kids went CRAZY for making jewelry!
We used hers up so I got my old collection out and they are still busy beading.
The only problem is we are almost out of elastic cording.
I went to DG hoping they'd have some but the only string they had was not elastic or part of a beading set (ya, I bought it...they are just having SOOO much fun at choice time)
If you happen to have any elastic cording laying around that you do not need, please consider donating it. It will go to good use!
For our pet unit we get to perform
BINGO for the class.
Everybody had a turn acting!
What fun!
(Every Friday we write or draw about our week...this activity was the most journaled about this week!)
Everywhere I look, there is beautiful learning happening!
Wednesday's centers included the following stations:
2D shape building...
(more pictures down further)
Spin a Shape Graphing Activity...
I knew those fidget spinners would come in handy one day!
Grandma Vickie's last center with us:
(more toward the end of this post)
Dog and Cat Sound It Out...
Evelyn's mom helped, too!
Her station was
Her station was
Give A Dog A Bone
Subtraction...
And our 5th station was
READ the Room
Guinea Pig Number Words!
Here are some bonus photos of the 2D build it station.
This was a hit!
Grandma Vickie brought everyone a super cute cookie from a great bakery in Galesville, Lylli and Ivy Bakery.
This was her going away gift to us!
She sure will be missed!
Thank you, Grandma Vickie!
This was a fun lesson on punctuation from last week:
They kids put in the .?!,
And then we read the ABCs using their punctuation.
What a fun way to practice!
My letter of the week treat this week:
Upside down Umbrella cupcakes!
I just loved our math finale today for 2D shapes.
The kids got a big old pile of (sorted) shapes and had to build...anything their little hearts desired!
Just look at these masterpieces!
This is the MOST pets ever brought in for our pet display! Thank you!
