2023 Week 36 Bugs and Butterflies!

 

Let's start with some CHOICE TIME!

So many fun and educational choices...

so little time!

On Wednesday (no centers as we where invited to the 4th Grade presentation Wax Museum!)

we created these beauties!

Not only did we explore a new art technique but we reviewed SYMMETRY!

Kara gave hers to Ms. K and Ms.K just loved our art work!  How sweet!

Thank you to those who sent back the clock homework.  We made a graph on the floor and organized them numerically! 

On Tuesday we created these little guys to decorate our room! The art technique was to use diffusing paper and water color markers.  The best part was we got to spray them with water!

Clock week has been a blast!

  

On Monday we made our graduation picture!

How cute!

Not all were finished at the end of the day so not everyone got a photo but they are all in the hallway now!  Hope you can swing in to see them soon!

Let's talk about slime!

This was a fundraisers for Ready Set School and wildly successful!  They sold out both days!

I purchased 2 for our classroom.

Let me apologize now for the slime on the k kids' clothes.  We DID discuss keeping it ON the table and keeping our tummies away but....

I am really hoping the slime washes out.

We had to dispose of it after 2 days as the kids just couldn't keep it off their clothes. 

I am sorry for that, too!
