So we will start here, on a Wednesday with CENTERS!
Our first station was practicing our NAMES using ONE UPPERCASE and the rest lowercase. Please reinforce this at home whenever your kiddo prints their name.
Station 2 was shape sorting!
K Kids should know these shapes:
circle*square*rectangle*oval*triangle*diamond(rhombus)*hexagon
Station 3: Painting the ABCs
Station 4:Playdough and button sculptures!
And Station 5 is ABC Building with Buttons!
Oh how fun on Letter Gg day!
We had GLOWSTICKS and GUM!
What fun!
On Tuesday we created these adorable PETE THE CATS!
Our ABC Book is coming along with
Ee for Egg...
Ff for fish...
and Gg for Gold Glitter Gg!
(It'll be awhile before those sparkles are all cleaned up!)

On Monday our Science Topic was HOW ANIMALS MOVE? A very fun and successful lesson!
And now for the week of September 25-29;
Reading/Language Arts: Letters Hh, Ii, Jj, and Kk
Rhyming and Beginning Sound
Math: Numerals to 5 including 0
Science: Animals Change and Grow
Social Studies: Friends at School
Theme: APPLES!
Big News:
Please send a baby picture of your k kid if you haven't as well as the family and home picture.
ALSO Please send in an apple on Monday and Tuesday for so many fun math and eating opportunities!
and (GOSH I ask a lot of you!)
Your child can bring in nature items for our FALL discovery table. Chances are they won't get returned as we will play with them.
Examples are corn, gourds, pumpkins, acorns, leaves.
What else can you come up with?
