Gung Hay Fat Choy!
Happy Lunar New Year!
2025 is the year of the snake.
On Monday we learned about pandas!
After brainstorming many panda facts, we wrote a rough draft of which panda fact we wanted to polish up. Then we made our final copy for the hallway! Wow, the kids worked so hard to attain good penmanship. They should really be proud of themselves!
Be sure to check them out during conferences!
Gosh, the kids do such a nice job is their daily writing journals!
This helpful fella is Mr.Schollmeier!
He is Ms.Reska's (one of our 1st grade teachers) dad. He is also a retired teacher who volunteers Monday through Wednesday at the school spending 30 minutes in every classroom that was lucky enough to grab a time slot. He reads individually with our students from 11-11:30. This is such an amazing opportunity!
Thank you, Mr.S!
Our kitchen is set up as a mini tea and noodle shop!

The discovery table is also set up with "Ramen" and chopsticks!
These kiddos are getting a sneak peak at next week's science table... Liquids!

I was lucky enough to get panda legos for our classroom!!!! So cute!
We wrapped up our final beach project by painting our wax resist crabs! Be looking for a fun lucky duck book coming home soon!
