2018 Week 10 Letter Ss, star word review *I*like*and*the*, Outer Space!

Monday's morning challenges were:

Our beginning sound independent work is coming along nicely!

Monday afternoon we created these fascinating concentric circles to decorate our classroom with!

On Tuesday we welcomed 2 new 100 Club kiddos!

Now that we are doing a letter of the week,  we'll have a snack to match the letter on Wednesdays.  During conferences you'll be able to sign up to bring a snack.

I brought the fixings to make S'mores for letter Ss!  

What scrumptious fun!

We learned how to draw stars this week. Wow!   The kids have really been using this skill to fill sheets and sheets of paper with stars!

Hailey's auntie has made another generous donation to our classroom!  Included in this shipment was tons of pompoms

We worked on Wednesday afternoon on these 

LAST NAME ROCKETS!

Yes, the k kids will need to print their last name for the end of the first semester in January.

(just a heads up if your last name is Kreidermacher! Hahaha)

Whew, that's a long one!

 The family project turkeys are strutting on in!

 Thursday had new morning challenges:
