2018 Week 11 Star Word *see*, Aa, Turkeys!

First of all, since it's the season of gratitude, 

I want you to know how thankful I am for YOU!

These kiddos this year are eager, ready learners who make me smile on a daily basis!  
They are polite and take good care of each other and our classroom.  I am one lucky teacher! 

Thanks for being awesome parents who return homework promptly!  Not a fun part of raising kids, I know (6 kids remember!) but you are all doing such a thorough job!

THANK YOU!!!!

I am grateful every day for working here in such a caring district in such a lovely little town!

What lovely fun, adding feathers to our turkey!

On Monday we painted handprint turkeys for you!

During rest time on Tuesday the kiddos visited my painting station to create a paper for a turkey tail.

Wednesday afternoon we created these adorably goofy turkeys! 

Here's my planning time one evening this week...
a balanced diet if you add the diet coke to the mix!

Thursday's new morning challenges included:
Turkey rhyming.. 

Pumpkin pie star words.

And the last station was

Turkey one to one correspondence...

Ms. Gatzlaff (Ms. G) has joined us every morning for 30 minutes!  Yay us!

Thursday was our 50th day in k!

This lovely lady won 2nd place in the fire poster contest... congrats!

The "OODLES OF NOODLES" discovery take is open!

Thursday's center's included:

Turkey building with play dough,  beads,  eyes,  feathers,  and chenille stems... each one was beautifully original!
