2018 Week 9 Letter Mm, star word 'and', HALLOWEEN!

Meet the newest member of the O'Duggan Clan... Pumpkin,  or Eugene, or whatever other name the kids call him!  It's too early to know which name will stick!

On Monday we had a lot of fun with rhyming bats!
We used two different formats, a bat packet and a bat puppet.
In the afternoon we created these mummies for letter Mm week.  The kids were surprised when we learned that mummies are real!   No, not the ones that chase after folks in scary movies or books,  but the kind that were kings,  laid to rest in a sarcophagus intending to preserve their bodies to show respect.

 Aren't they adorable?

Here's another peek at the happenings in our room...

We're created this lovely poster for the program Taste of Cardinal County.
The theme was A Million Dreams!
