Wowza~What a crazy week with a workshop day and a 2 hour delay it seems all we did is play catch up!
But we still had fun and learned a thing or two along the way!
Page way to the end to see the
BEACH PARTY PHOTOS!!!
This is an out of order photo of Wednesday's centers.
We made a beach snack that looked like the ocean!
Scroll down for more photos of Wednesday's centers...
Is it really the beach unless we have some good old fashioned water play?
There was also some nice coconut tree and monkey gear engineering...
And tons of dramatic play at the beach!
Here are some photos of Wednesday's centers:
The Beach Snack was tasty and beautiful!
I love to have the k kids follow a simple recipe.
It's good for them on so many different levels.
Plus who doesn't love eating our projects? Haha!
It was one scoop of blue jello, 2-3 scoops of vanilla pudding, whipped cream, and blue sprinkles!
Plus a nice little topper of either a shark fin or some extra mermaid/seashell toppers I had left over from my niece's baby shower!
Centers also included creating our own Hawaiian Lei...
Shark Attack Subtraction...
Real and Silly Shark Words...
And a great Sink/Float Science Experiment with Ms. S!
Here's some of the beachy centers in our room...
This is the night before our beach party...getting set up!
Every one gets a lei and a flower clip to keep!
Thursday afternoon we created these adorable sharks with Ms. S! We fed them our sight words!
Earlier in the week we created these lovely little handprint crabs...they will be going in our memory book so you might not see them until springtime!
Oh geez...this was a super hard bonus!
Several kiddos solved this tricky octopus dot-to-dot!
Great job, kiddos...
