2024 Week 22 Valentines!

 Thank you so much for the birthday wishes! 

I spent the weekend looking for snow and agates near Finland,  MN!

This week in kindergarten we began our 2 week long America the Beautiful unit

(segmented by Valentines Day and 100th  Day)

Last week we had a fun science lesson on

 States of Matter:

solids liquids gasses 

We also had a bonus outdoor recess time! 

Wednesday's centers were:

Station 1 Valentines Playdough...

Station 2 Counting by 5s with Maecy's mom,  Hailey!

 

Station 3 Sight Word Practice in pink sugar!

Station 4 Sound it Out Valentine Style...

And Station 5 Opening Our Valentines!

One of our smarties worked on solving putting numbers on order to 100 during rest time!

On Monday we created Valentines for YOU! 

On Thursday we learned about Lady Liberty and then created our own mini version!

Our Grammar lesson this week was 

PROPER NOUNS!

2024 Week 21 Dental Health and Valentines and Occupations!

What a whirlwind of a week!

Dental Health,  Valentines,  and Occupations were our themes for the week. 

 

Please send all Valentines in by Monday so we have time to hand them out since there is no school on Tuesday.  Thanks!

We also created these giant toothbrushes to chart toothbrushing habits.  Bring it back in a month for a fun tooth friendly snack!

Oh my Goodness! The Family Project Valentines look amazing! There is still time to get your family's in if you haven't!

Choice time is such a valuable time!

We practice skills,  both academic and social!

After we created our Valentines bags the kids got to use the collage materials any way they wished! What artists!
