2018 Week 15 short a word families, *to*see*we*a*, Christmas themes!

My hubby and I took another semi impromptu trip to Lake Superior to show Flat Stanley (a school project for our granddaughter in Indianapolis,  your kiddo will do one next year as well! )around Duluth and Finland and nearly to the Canadian border!  We backpacked 6 miles on the Superior Hiking trail,  we took a site seeing tour through Duluth including Canal Park and the lift bridge and Bentleyville,  we visited several iconic state parks including Gooseberry and Split Rock,  we looked for moose in the Superior National Forest north of Finland, and finally picked for agates and sea glass in Burlington Bay near Two Harbors. Whew,  I wonder if Flat Stanley was as wiped out as me!

We're wintergreen coat twins!

The e quivalent of 69 flights of stairs were hiked!

The Christmas Card Shop is up and running with lots of Happy Holiday creations and glitter! Always the glitter!
The handprint station is waiting for 40 kiddos to go though... we had a kindergarten switch-a-roo day on Monday.  Mrs. Pilger's kids came to me for a handprint poem,  my kiddos went to Mrs.Pilger to work on a Christmas card for you.  What a fun day!
Here's a SANTA poem we've been working on!
This is another fun game reviewing some of the green reading level words...
