2018 Week 37 Animals and the ZOO!

Last weekend we finally found a meal's worth of mushrooms.  Of course, my hubby is the best mushroom tracker between the two of us.  Maybe it's because I sit in the forest taking selfies of me and my dog and the wildflowers?

Monday we had new morning challenges:
Adult vs. Offspring review...

Animal puzzles...

Animal track matching...

We created several little books about animals this week!

We also made these cutie patotie raccoons!

Tuesday's Pastries for Parents was a hit!
If I missed you for a photo, I apologize. I got pretty busy!

We've opened up a chalk board in the classroom for drawing and writing!  What fun!
Team work puzzle time...
Animal Kingdom study has been fun.
The kids are writing their own animal cards!

What good biologists we have!

On Tuesday we created these SYMMETRY butterflies instead of centers due to scheduling conflicts for our paras.
What good messy fun we had!

This is our last week with the pizza parlor.
We've had a lot of great fun here!
The kids helped take down the pond and put up the dinosaur table.  It is a pretty popular area!
During choice time there is plenty of writing going on these days!

The animal station is  up and running.

The building continues!
These kids are always creating!

Wednesday's centers included:
Magnet Magic part 2...discovering the poles

Subtracting with elephants and peanuts...

Syllable Hop with Kangaroos...

and Bigger Numbers with Baby Elephants...

Good reads this week...
Thursday we had our very last morning challenge trio:
Ice Cream Addition...

More Animal Puzzles...

Ice Cream counting by 2s, 5s, 10s

More choice time creating...

Finally it was time for the ZOO!
