2021 March Week 1

 Happy 100th Day of School!

We also celebrated Read-Across-America Week and Dr. Seuss's Birthday!  Wowza!

This k kid has the honors of putting up our 100th cookie in our cookie jar!

Our milk break snack was a delicious little 100!
We had a fun experiment...what will 100 licks on a little lollipop look like?

At choice time the kiddos made 100 squares!

We had several journal projects with that fun number 100!
Here's "what would you buy if you had $100?"

Here's more choice time activities!

On Monday we created these adorable Cat In The Hats! We've been practicing our middle names (many of them we spell phonetically! )

We've really enjoy our center activities! This one was discovering the vowel in a CVC word...
More choice time activities...

Mrs. Sauers helped these kiddos with this fun station while I was getting a root canal (yikes! )  100 dots!

Here's another fun journal.... what can you make with a 100 (The actual numerals! )

On Wednesday we painted 101 dots on a Dalmatian...too cute!

We had 100 sticker dots to create a picture...
what fun!

We read a fun book called The Wolf's Chicken Stew.... it ends with no chicken stew for Mr.Wolf but he made 100 new friends and they were baby chicks!  We then had to find all 100 baby chicks hidden around the room....we are still looking for Chick #49!

Mr. Riebel gave us all flashlights for
Read-Across-America Week!
We read with them, did math with them, experimented with shadows with them!
You can keep them!
(p.s. I'm taking mine primitive camping this weekend as we head up north of Finland, MN!)

What a fun Read-Across-America Week!
