2025 Week 36 Almost the END and The Pond! BONUS: Time and Money

Wow!

I cannot believe our year is nearly over!

We are sure having a good time with our end of the year projects.

I especially LOVE the gradution portraits!

Stay tuned for next week's ACTUAL graduation portraits, so cute!

You are not going to believe this but we have a actual water in our our pond!
By the end of the week, it even gets kind of swampy smelling...haha!

Weren't those frogs super cute?

We spend the afternoon learning about these fascinating amphibians!

Even though our time is ticking away so quickly we are still learning new skills...

The King of ING is a hit was we look at words that end in ~ing!

Speaking of time, our clock and time unit was a very fun way to fill our Math block as we are officially finished with the math series.

The same goes for our money unit!

I hope every one's baggie of coins made it home safe and sound.  Thank you for sending them as we explored coins and their values.

We read a lovely book called A Chair for My Mother about saving money and buying something special.
The kids then journaled what they might buy with a jar of coins!

Thank you for the coins that we studied together!
They were all sent home on Thursday.

Here are 2 more 100 CLUB kiddos!
Congrats!

Wednesday's centers included:
Station 1: finding CVC words...

Station 2: Pond Playdough!

Station 3: Coin naming and graphing with Ms. Hannah...

Station 4: Telling Time to the hour with Jill...

Station 4 with me and Ms. Starks (she travels with a few students so she gets to help at ALL of the stations!) Adding by counting on ...

Here are a couple of playdough photos out of order:

Thank you for counting clocks at your home.  We took this data and organized the number of clocks in ascending order.  The kids did great figuring out where they should all stand!

Thursday was turtle day in K!
