We read the original 3 Pete books by Eric Litwin and voted for our favorite:
During our literacy time we've been journaling.
On letter Ff day we turned a Feather into...
(be looking for a lucky duck book coming home soon with your child to find out!)
One of our Lucky Duck books is a guessing game called Who's Shoes?
Fun!
And here are two more!
Wednesday's centers included the following 4 stations:
Station 1:
Brain Break with Pete the Cat Playdough mats...
Station 2:
ABC Review with buttons...
Station 3:

On letter Gg day I gave the kiddos GLOW STICKS
to play with at rest time.
We talked about chemical reactions and how cool the reaction was fluorescent!
They are trying to make a letter G with their stick...
CHOICE TIME!!!!!
These GOOFY GLASSES photos are for the Lucky Duck book mentioned above!
The kids have been playing with them ALL week!
On letter Gg day we had GUM all day!
Aren't these PETES adorable?
On letter Ff day the kids got to do a
FIZZY experiment,
you know the old vinegar and baking soda "magic"
They had a blast!
They also had to record like a scientist!
Is it even kindergarten unless we break out the glitter weekly? Haha!
Here are a few of the ABC pages from this week...
(this will be sent home after letter Zz day)

On letter Ee day we began our science talk with the classic ELEPHANT TOOTHPASTE Experiment!
See video above.
Here are the cutie patootie bears we made last Friday in the hallway!

And on Ee day we just had to make Ees before we ate them!
