Here's to another great week!
This was a busy one with our apple theme and homecoming!
Once again our photos load out of order, so thanks for your patience!
Here we are on Thursday with a POPCORN and MOVIE party! The kids earned it by getting 10 points in the ABC Game we play daily. The next goal is 15 points!
We watched a collection of Fairy Tales and the animated version of Where the Wild Things Are!
The kids are also wearing MMMMoose hats from Moose Jaw in Wisconsin Dells as my boy is the Kitchen Mananger there!
Here are a few of our apple stations to play at!
Can you guess that Thursday was Mm day?
We had mustaches for the kids if they wanted to wear them, and they WANTED to wear them! Haha!
This was fun!
We created a cardinal for the parade
We created a cardinal for the parade
(as of publishing this the weather hasn't canceled it)
Look how cute our ABC book is coming along!
Mm day was SOOOOO full of fun things!
We took the Math lesson and mixed it up a bit.
Data collecting, sorting, and recording was the skill...I think they nailed it! And ate it!
Wednesday's centers included:
Station 1... eating everything apple!
Dried apples
"Apple Pies"
And apple juice!
Page down to see us cut up all those apples!
Station 2
Apple Dice Game
I wish you could smell the aroma that drifted out of our room as we dried these apples and cooked down the pie apples!
During choice time 1 I am usually able to call kids over for individual or small group activities. This week we created the life cycle of an apple tree throughout the year!
