Week 16 CHRISTMAS THEMES and POLAR EXPRESS!

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

On Monday we had some fun word work activities:
Because we had an assessment afternoon, there are not many pics from Monday. Please refer to your child's mid-quarter report to polish up any skills that are not S or E.  Thanks!

 On Tuesday we had Kindergarten Switch-a-Roo Day!
In Mrs. Pilger's room we created these beautiful ornaments...


In our room we created these lovely and sentimental handprint poems for you!


 Mrs. Kalmes' helped us make a card and gift bag.

Our igloo is finished!
Thanks for all the milk jugs...we ended up with 64!

Tuesday's Centers were:
Polar Express Food Creation 
(and eating!)



Mrs. Sauers helped us with hot cocoa 
ENDIND Sounds!


Mrs. Benke helped with hot cocoa TEENS numbers using marshmallows!

Ms. S helped us with searching for numbers with magnifiers! 


Wednesday morning we arrived to this!
Our own POLAR EXPRESS train! 

We had free choice puzzles and coloring in place of morning challenges!




 Then we had a photo shoot with our pajamas on !














 While the kids were in phy.ed. and music I set up the HOT COCOA bar!

 The kids got their own ceramic Santa mug!





 Finally we got to create and DRINK our hot cocoa!  Thanks for sending in all the items!













 We also had cookies from the PLAY group!

 Mrs. Sauers had the cookie sprinkle station!
Oh YES!!!
