2025 Week 30 Rain, Worms, and MUD!!!!

Worms Worms Worms!!!
Thank you for all the worms!
We even had a worm farm visit for the week! Wowza!
Thank you,  Elliot!

This was a science activity comparing gummy worms to real worms:

On Monday we wrapped up the weather unit by learning about the water cycle:

We also made a rainstorm in a cup to illustrate evaporation,  condensation,  precipitation,  accumulation!

We love being scientists!

Since January,  Mr. S. has been reading to and with us in a one on one setting. His last day for the year is next Wednesday.
Thank you for another wonderful year,  Mr.S!

Choice time:

In Math we have been exploring shapes.
This week's focus was 3D shapes as we learned the  3 dimentional shapes of cone,  cube,  cylinder, rectangular prism, and sphere:

Thursday was MUD day!
We made a journal page and a take home book using MUD!
(Mostly paint...shhhh! Don't tell!)

And here are are few of the journal pages for a lucky duck book coming home soon!

Who knew a person could have enough books and content to cover a 2 day theme of MUD?
I ❤️ teaching k!
