Happy BUG FUN week!
Our blogs are very picture heavy with a bit of narrative.
ENJOY!!!

Monday: 
Our main focus was 
LADYBUGS!!!
My station was a cute poem and painting to match...




Mrs. Gnadt's station was a BUG JAR! 



Maddie helped make magnifiers....


While the kids waited to do their projects,
they had free choice....






After snack we had book time!

then group time with sharing,
and then pack up to go outside!!!!

TUESDAY was HONEY BEE DAY!
Maddie helped us create cute magnets...


Mrs. Gnadt helped with a little book about position words...

Amy guided the kids on a bee poem...
they even learned about hexagons!

Becca (not sure where the pic went...sorry)
helped us with abc order...

more choice time...



My table was putting the finishing touches on yesterday's poem...
and painting these adorable little bees!


WEDNESDAY's focus was fireflies, dragonflies, and regular old pesky flies...

Playdo is always a hit!


as are puzzles...


Amy's station was ordering firefly jars 1-10
then creating our own!
 

Mrs. Gnadt guided the kids on swatting out their name on a giant fly sheet!

We swatted flies with paint at my station to go with the book 
OLD BLACK FLY




We also counted and printed to 12 
on our own mini bug jars!

THURSDAY was butterfly and caterpillar day!
Mrs. Gnadt helped with sand painting...


Becca played an abc game with us...


Amy helped create an adorable caterpillar...


Choice time...



My station was watercolor butterflies!


FRIDAY 
Mrs. Gnadt helped us assemble bug fliers!


We counted ants with Maddie...

Amy helped the kids create these adorable picture frames...


Choice Time...




At my station we created this bug collection....
