2017 Week 24 Letter Rr, America the Beautiful!

So another chapter in our Superior Hiking Trail adventure...
6 miles in snowshoes!  
Let me tell you, 2 miles on the road to get back to the car felt like HEAVEN!

 Maeve joined us from her studies in Moorhead.
Fionn came, too, but just for the pool and hot tub at the lodge!  Smart boy!

 On Sunday I got to do what I LOVE the best, be in the Lake!
Yes, in February!  It's really not that much colder than August, really!
 We brought back these "rocks" for snack!
Yep, they were CHOCOLATE!
How fun is that?
On Monday we began our America the Beautiful unit with these cutie tricorner hats and powered wigs!

 These kiddos are checking out the new dental health area...
 Here's Monday's leader rereading the morning message...
 On Tuesday we had a LADY LIBERTY day!
 We learned many interesting facts about her.

 We had an Eagle day in K on Wednesday...





 This nice fella brought our Rr treat for the week...Ritz crackers!  Thank you!
 We've also been noticing the American Flag.  
Nice job, kiddo!  That is very good!
 We created these cuties to put up at our America the Beautiful station...
 Wednesday afternoon we switched gears and learned about dental health.  Here we are cleaning our teeth! 
Brushing round and round, and back and forth to make the teeth nice and shiny.

Now, my youngest son and I are off (weather permitting) to Atlanta to visit my oldest son and his family...grandbaby Adelaide time!
