2018 Week 27 Shamrocks, Addition, Letter Oo

First of all,
We are all saddened by the untimely loss of Amelia Speltz, Payson's auntie.  Amelia was my kindergartener 15 years ago, a friend to my daughter, and a very helpful volunteer for our summer programs.  She will me missed by so many.

It's that time of year again...Maple sugaring (syrup)! My 15 year old son was in charge of tapping trees for the first time this year! Yay, Fionn!
It was so nice to see so many of you at the Winter Carnival. I love to help out at the facepainting table ... Or arm painting!
Here's a few more family projects!
Tuesday's new Morning challenges included :
Shamrock Numeric Order....
Shamrock addition sentences...

Shamrock words...

We created these lucky rainbow gold pots on Monday...

We also created cutie patootie leprechauns  over the course of two days!

Tuesday's centers included :
Shamrock sound it out ...

Comparing weight...

Leprechaun gold addition...

And a Brain Break station with minty green Playdough and St. Patrick's Day baubles to incorporate ...

Here's all of our lovely little leprechauns
And family projects! There's just a few out yet!

This fella is having fun at a new word center...
He's so proud of himself!

What good creative fun!

Mrs. Pulley helped with cvc word building ...

Mrs. G helped with a measure the leprechaun station...

good reads...
We had new morning challenges on Friday:

Because the leprechauns won't visit until St. Patrick's Day,
We made our own fun!
